How to Make Reservations for Training Building or Range Use.
BEFORE MAKING RESERVATIONS, CHECK THE RESERVATIONS PAGE.
Fees for reservations:
There is no fee associated with reservations for educational, youth and non-profit organizations such as Hunter Safety, 4H, Scouting, and non-profit service organizations. However, such programs and organizations must make reservations through the club secretary.
All for-profit organizations and businesses will be charged a $500 per day reservation fee for each range or Training Building reserved, and are limited to a maximum of four reservations per year. The user requirement of 75% of persons attending must be SGC members.
Requirements for making reservations:
All organizations must provide the name and contact phone number of a responsible party. The responsible party will be held accountable for the condition and clean up of the range – following the event.
All events, or activities, reserved by any organization must have a designated Range Safety Officer(s) who will be present during the period of the reserved event, or activity. The range safety officer will be responsible for ensuring proper and adequate firearm safety is maintained throughout the event, or activity.
Snowshoe Gun Club will not provide liability insurance for any activity outside normal club operations. All organizations and agencies making a reservation of any range at Snowshoe Gun Club must be able to provide proof of liability insurance in order to conduct their event or training.
