Clays Range
SGC Clays Range are located on the West side of the Training Buildings Parking lot.
There are our four established clays fields numbered from South to North (#1-#4). All fields have cement station walkways. Fields 1 & 2 have Pat-Trap - trap machines capable of throwing double clays as well as Trap 2 has a wobble function. Both fields incorporate voice-activated wireless systems.
There is currently two established Clay Combo fields (fields 3-4), The Combo fields have Skeet as well as Trap houses. Both Skeet fields have GP Trap skeet machines provided by the NRA. In 2019, SGC installed a Promatic ClaysMate card system, completed the concrete walkways and purchased (6) Promatic mobile traps to allow a 5-stand or FITAS clays course to be sent up on any of the fields. A grant for (2) new Pat-Trap machines and wireless voice systems has been received from the FNRA and hopefully installed in 2021 on clays field 3&4.
No Shot Size larger than #6 is allowed on the SGC Clays Range.
The Clays Range is the responsibility of the SGC Clays Committee as directed by the SGC Directors.
For the safety of the users. No SGC Clay Targets will be thrown without a
SGC Clays Committee Member Present.
Personel clay target throwers my be used at the Clays Range when the range is not in use.
Please check the SGC Calendar for available times.
